Special Educational Needs & Disabilities
(SEND) Local Offer
We are immensely proud of the fact that we are an inclusive preschool and believe all our children are special and individual.
Sometimes some of our children need a little more help than others to achieve their potential. Sue our SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and all the team in the preschool work hard to meet the needs of all our children, particularly those with SEND. If you have any questions or concerns, please speak to your child’s Key person.
Please see our SEND policy for more information.

What is the Local Offer?
The Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) regulations, associated with the Children and Families Act 2014, state that local authorities must publish a Local Offer. It must set out, in one place, information about the expected education, health and social care provision available for children and young people aged 0 - 25 with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including those who do not have statements or Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans.

SEND code of practice: 0 - 25 years

Our offer
The aim of the document is to enable families to see what we can offer and what support we can give to the children and families in our setting. It provides clear information about what we already have in place to enable each child to achieve to their full potential.

We value and respect individual needs and abilities of children and adults involved with our preschool. We are an inclusive setting with a wealth of experience in supporting and promoting and supporting individual needs, learning and development.
